FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do you deliver Australia wide?

Yes Baby Gift Box employs reputable couriers that can deliver anywhere in Australia that has a postcode. We deliver to all major captial cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Launceston, Adelaide, Darwin and Perth), country as well as remote areas. For rural areas, delivery can be made to the nearest Post Office if there are limited courier services in the area or to the couriers depot for collection.

2. When will my gift arrive?

We offer Express Next Business Day Delivery for metro areas within Australia for our entire Gift Range provided your order is received by 1pm AEST to ensure it can be despatched in time to our couriers. Please refer to our delivery schedule for cut off and delivery times for the Express service. Please refer to our Delivery Schedule for further details including various locations.

3. Do you deliver to hospitals?

Yes we can arrange delivery to hospitals, however please note that new mums are usually in hospital for 2-4 days depending if it is a public or private hospital. It is best to make sure with the hospital that the recipient will still be a patient based on the delivery times to avoid having the gift re-directed which will incur an additional re-delivery fee. We would be most grateful if you could provide as much detail as possible (e.g. Ward and Room details). Also please ensure the correct surname that is registered as often the mum is registered under their maiden name rather than their married name. Please also note that for security reasons some hospitals do not allow couriers into the Maternity Ward and the gift is generally taken to the central delivery point (e.g reception, delivery dock etc) where internal hospital arrangements are made to ensure the gift is then delivered to the patient.

4. Are your gifts pre-packaged?

To ensure consistent high quality and presentation of all our gifts, each gift is made in our office upon receipt of your order. Even though we offer over 300 different types of gift combinations, we do not pre-package your gift or outsource the arrangement or packaging to third parties. All our gifts are made upon receipt of your order with much love, care and pride, to ensure your recipient's heart melts upon the unwrapping of their gift.

5. How do the gifts arrive?

To protect your gift during transit, all our gifts are packaged with bubble wrap or tissue paper, and then encassed in a strong shipping box to ensure your gift arrives in pristine condition - looking and feeling as fresh as the photos. Our gift wrapping is of the highest quality as we understand how important First Impressions count. Visit our packaging page for further details.

6. Can I custom an order to suit my requirements?

Yes of course. Baby Gift Box can tailor a gift to suit your budget and requirements. We generally start with a base product and then we can either add or subtract items and adjust the price accordingly. Simply contact us on 1300 438 443 and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.


7. Where do you source your gifts?

We believe it is important to bring you the latest gift products available not only in Australia but also Global Markets. We strive very hard to bring you products of the highest quality as well as products that have that extra unique factor not generally found in your everyday department store. We do all the hard work by attending several trade shows to source the best the world has to offer, including products from Australia, US and Asia.

8. Are your baby garments 100% cotton?

As baby skin is precious, we only source baby garments (e.g. body suits, t-shirts, bootees and mittens) that are 100% cotton as this fabric is breathable. All body suits and t-shirts have an envelope neck to enable easy dressing. We provide information on fabric material for all items contained within each gift in our product description. If you would like further information, please call us and we will be more than happy to assist.

9. Are your gifts always in stock and what is your substitution policy?

We endeavour to have all our gifts always in stock however due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. supplier delays) it may be necessary to substitute an item. If this is required we guarantee the substituted product is of equal or higher value. Generally if a product is out of stock we will make a note on the product description page so that you are aware of the item being replaced. We will always endeavour to send exactly what our photo depicts with most substituted items generally a different colour but the same product unless otherwise advised.
