Delivery Times & Time of Day Requests
Our express couriers operate Monday to Friday. Orders received by 12:30pm (AEST) on any given weekday will be dispatched that same day for delivery the as per above. This applies to capital cities and metropolitan areas. For outside the metropolitan region, country and remote areas, please allow an additional 1-3 business days for the gift to arrive at the destination. Please note there are no weekend deliveries. Orders placed after 12:30pm on Friday are dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
Please note that for remote country areas often it is not possible for couriers to deliver to these areas door to door. In these cases, gifts will be delivered to the nearest Australia Post outlet for delivery with regular mail or pick up from the Post Office by the Receiver or Pick up from the couriers depot. This will often depend on the normal gift parcel service for this area. Please call 1300 438 443 to ask whether this applies for your delivery.
Special Date Request
The courier delivery fee of $14.95 is a flat delivery fee for Australia wide and applies to all gifts whether it be next business day or a later date. For special date request, simply mention this in the special instructions box and we will endeavour to do our very best with the couriers to ensure delivery on the required day.
For hospital deliveries please ensure the correct surname is entered for the recipient as often mums are registered under their maiden name. Hospital staff will not accept gifts for patients whose surnames do not match their register. Please also ensure the mum will still be a patient at the hospital based on the time frames above. Usual hospital policy allows mums to stay for 2-3 days, while at other times, it allows them to transfer to a hotel after 2 days, where they can continue their recovery. ***Important information - Couriers are no longer permitted to the wards with gifts to be delivered to the receiving dock and then on-forward. This can cause an extra days delay during busy periods within various hospital wings***
Significant discounts apply for bulk orders of 5 or more gifts going to the same destination. Please contact our office for a quote to obtain the freight discount. Bulk orders are sent using our Road Express Couriers.
If the recipient is not home and therefore a signature cannot be obtained, the courier will leave the parcel in a safe place; however if the courier deems it unsafe to leave the parcel at the destination (e.g. unit complex), a calling card will be left for the recipient. The gift will be taken to the nearest Australia Post Office or pick up point (couriers depot) for safe keeping and collection at a more suitable time. Please ensure delivery details are correct to avoid delays. If the address provided is incorrect and the parcel is required to be re-delivered, a re-delivery fee of $15 may be incurred.
